My name is Debra Seeley. I am an experienced counsellor and registered Social Worker with over 20 years of professional experience. I am passionate and committed to supporting people in their healing journey, and walking beside them when experiencing mental health and emotional health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma and addiction. I offer individual mental health therapy for youth (16+), adults, and older adults. Counselling can be via video conferencing or by phone for anyone located anywhere within British Columbia or Ontario, and in-person for individuals near Coquitlam, BC. I am a registered Social Worker (RSW & MSW) in both BC and Ontario and a registered Clinical counsellor in BC (RCC). I abide by the code of ethics and standards of practice for both registered social workers (BCCSW) and (OCSWSSW), and registered Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).

Trauma memories are stored in our body, and can get in the way of our capacity to lead a happy and fulfilling life. I will work with you to support you in the shedding of an old identity, while helping you to explore the true essence of who you are and want to be. While this can be scary, it can also be inspiring, exciting, and give you hope back that had been missing. We can explore your recovery goals together; whether it may be harm reduction or abstinence. 

Addiction is a common experience which affects people from all backgrounds and walks of life.
